Did you know that transport is one of the largest contributors to Australia’s carbon footprint?
To reduce emissions, widespread adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) is the answer. In Australia, electric vehicles are more popular than ever before, with sales tripling from 2020 to 2021 - and with more and more models available on the market, they’re expected to rise again in 2022.
Switching your business to electric vehicles reduces your company's carbon footprint, and contributes to a greener lifestyle.
But upgrading your fleet to EVs is an investment.
That’s why Yarno is teaming up with the City of Newcastle to deliver a learning campaign on electric and hydrogen vehicles to Newcastle businesses, covering how they work, how they support sustainable transport, and how they’re different from petrol-based vehicles.
If you’re thinking of making the switch to EVs, or just want to learn more about how they work, you’ll want to check this one out!
What is Yarno?
Yarno is a quiz based, microlearning platform that only takes 3 minutes a day! It’s also gamified which makes it fun to complete. Too easy.
The nitty-gritty
This complimentary campaign, as part of the City of Newcastle’s NewSkills initiative, is designed to give learners a strong understanding of the difference between electric and hydrogen vehicles, and how they operate.
When?
The campaign is free for the next 12 months - sign up if you wish to participate!
What?
Delivered through Yarno’s gamified microlearning platform, learners are invited to answer 2-3 multiple-choice quiz questions daily, over two weeks.
Sound easy? That’s because it is!
Best of all, answering your Yarno questions only takes up a few minutes of your day, so you can do a bit of learning while in the queue for your morning coffee. And you can see where you sit on the leaderboard in real-time.
