Webhooks
In this article, we’ll cover:
- What are Webhooks?
- Why use Webhooks?
- How are Webhooks enabled for Yarno accounts?
- Does Yarno have a public API?
What are Webhooks?
Webhooks are automated messages sent when a specific event occurs, that contain defined data. These can be received by other programs and used to track data or trigger other actions.
Available Yarno Webhooks events include:
- Learner added to Yarno
- Campaign created
- Campaign completed
- Learner added to Campaign
- Learner completed Campaign
For the full list of Yarno Webhooks speak to your Yarno CSM.
Why use Webhooks?
Webhooks allow you to integrate point-in-time Yarno data into other programs or systems.
For example, a program could receive a Webhook regarding the completion of a Campaign, and use this to trigger further opportunities for the learners who had participated outside of Yarno.
How are Webhooks enabled for Yarno accounts?
Speak to your Yarno CSM if you’re interested in enabling Webhooks on your account – they will be able to provide more technical details.
Does Yarno have a public API?
Yarno does not currently have a public API, so a Webhooks integration is the simplest way to access automated data transfers between Yarno and customer systems. If you have any questions about integrations with Yarno, please speak with your CSM who will be happy to provide further information.
