Adding or retiring a Learner

Who are Learners
Learners are any individuals with a Yarno account who can participate in Yarno Campaigns or access the Learning Library.
When Managers might need to add or retire a Learner?
As a Team or Group Manager, there are a number of situations where you might want someone to be added or removed from Yarno:
- A new starter has joined your Team/Group
- A Learner who was in your Team has transferred to another Team
- A Learner will be on holiday or extended leave for upcoming Yarno Campaigns
- A Learner previously retired due to holiday/leave has returned to work
What to do to add/retire Learners
As a Manager, you cannot manually add or retire a Learner from within the Yarno app.
You will need to either:
- Speak with one of the Admins for Yarno within your organisation (they will be able to follow the steps here to add or retire the Learner), or
- Contact Yarno Support by filling out this form, emailing us on support@yarno.com.au or giving us a call on 1300 79 75 46.
To action your request quickly, please provide the following details:
To add a Learner:
- Name and email address of the new Learner, and any other relevant details for your Account (such as Employee ID)
- Which Team (and Group if relevant) the Learner should be added to
- Whether the Learner should be added to any current or upcoming Campaigns
To retire a Learner:
- Name and email address of the Learner
- Whether the Learner should be removed from Yarno, or just removed from a current Campaign or the relevant Team/Group
Can retired Learners be re-added to Yarno?
Yes, retired Learners can have their account re-activated. This is particularly relevant when a Learner may be going on extended leave from work – it may make sense to temporarily retire that Learner so that they are not added to upcoming Campaigns, and then re-activate their account once they return to work.
