It’s been three months since Yarno teamed up with Rooftop Bees to sponsor the Yarno hive. (Also, it’s February already. I know!)

If you missed the memo. Yarno is part of their Corporate Beekeeping Program. This program sponsors bee hives on behalf of organisations, and is designed to create long-tern sustainable outcomes for organisations, bees, and their habitats.

You can read more about the partnership and our intro session to the hive here.

We have been receiving monthly updates on the hive, including how our Queen Bee-Yarn-Ce is going, and the bees' productivity. Our hive is located in Sydney, where the recent warmer and drier weather has created ideal conditions for foraging.

Our busy buzzy Yarno bees are working hard producing lots of honey while the days are still long. Honey stores have increased and the hive is maintaining a good colony size. Gradually, as the days start to get shorter, hive activity will gradually reduce but in the meantime they’re enjoying the sunshine!

Check out our official Yarno Hive report from Rooftop Bees below! Our bees are thriving!
