The Yarno platform has been up and running for about 5 months now.
We launched with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to run our pilot campaigns, which was the lightest version of the platform that we felt comfortable putting in front of our pilot customers.
Since then we’ve been hard at work on the first big release for Yarno. And I’m happy to announce that Yarno V2 is now live! It’s jam-packed with a bunch of features on our product roadmap, along with some great requests from our customers.
In a nutshell, the features allow our customers to:
- Run multiple campaigns
- Edit active questions and learners
- Copy existing campaigns
- Create teams
- Allow account owners/admins to join campaigns
- Flag questions for review
- Have easy access to FAQs through the Yarno knowledge base
Multiple campaigns
Campaigns are the heart and soul of Yarno. And you can now run multiple campaigns to different learners at the same time. Account owners can see results across all their campaigns and they can drill down into specific campaigns as desired.
Edit active questions and learners
One common request from our customers was to have the ability to edit and remove learners and questions on a live campaign. This makes it easy to keep content up-to-date as it changes (which it invariably will).
During a campaign, learners will often give feedback on a particular question or answer – which for our customers has been a pleasant surprise. Usually, the silence is deafening from the learners!

Teams
Teams were a commonly requested feature that we’re super happy to see live. A big part of Yarno is encouraging friendly competition, and now this can be tracked at both an individual and team level.
The team leaderboard ranks teams by their average performance. This enables teams of different sizes to compete fairly. Teams can also see their position changes over time.
Account owner/admin join a campaign
Account owners and admins can now choose to join a campaign and answer questions alongside learners.
Managers answer questions
A Manager has access to results across learners. However, they may not want to answer questions on every campaign. So now each time you create a new campaign, you can choose whether or not you’d like all managers to answer questions. If they don’t answer questions they’ll still be able to access campaign reporting
Question flag
Some content that you add to Yarno may be time sensitive. This is especially true for promotional or marketing content that is only relevant for a specific period of time.
So now when creating a question you can set a review flag. Review flags can be based on either a duration e.g. 3 months or a specific date. Flagged content appears on the admin dashboard and is a simple but powerful way to regularly review your content to keep it up-to-date.
Knowledge base
We’ve moved our user guides to an online knowledge base. This makes it easy for account owners and learners to find how-to info and FAQs.
It’s also super easy to contact us for support.
So, there we have it – the first major product release for the Yarno platform!
